NDApHC
Born and Bred Award
Year-End Award Program & Nomination Form
Each year, the NDApHC awards an engraved silver trophy buckle to
the high point ND performance horse in the club. The North Dakota
Born or Bred Award is an award given yearly to a horse either born
in North Dakota or whose sire or dam was in North Dakota at the
time of breeding. Any age horse is eligible; however, only open
classes count toward the award. The nominated horse must be entered
in both performance and halter classes. The owner of the nominated
horse must be a member of NDApHC but does not have to live in North
Dakota. Nomination fee is $20 per year per horse. A copy of the
front and back of the horse’s registration papers must be
included with the nomination. Points will only count once the nomination
is received. Only NDApHC approved shows will count for the award.
