Celebrating
50 Years
The
North Dakota Appaloosa Club was first organized in 1960. The
first official meeting was held in Bismarck, ND during the month
of July. Board of directors selected were Clarence Danielson,
Jr. of Watford City, ND; Henry Rogers, Velva, ND; Dr. Fitzlaugh,
Killdeer, ND; Lester Ennis, Minot, ND; Linde Rueb, Bismarck,
ND; Ruth Miller, Eldridge, ND; and Duane Witt of Arthur, ND.
Clarence
Danielson, Jr. was elected President; Duane Witt as Vice-president,
and Linde Rueb, Secretary-Treasurer. The President appointed
Mona Hayes as club historian and reporter.
